Earlier this term we welcomed Frances Bestley, Programme Director for UNICEF Rights Respecting School and visitors from Nord Anglia Education which is a British provider of international schools across the globe.
They were keen to see a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting School. Their itinerary included: a visit to Article 28 (our on-site alternative provision); meeting with various pastoral staff and, of course, meeting with students (Student Council Representatives) who discussed their experiences at the school.
Following their time at the school, the visitors wrote: "Sending a HUGE thank you for hosting us at your school today. It was extremely helpful for us on our journey to more schools reaching Gold level, and your school was a wonderful example of one which truly values student voice and dignity. Thank you to everyone we spoke to for sharing, and a huge thank you for everyone’s time."
