We Can Be Event

Our day started with a workshop with LGT, the largest royal family-owned private banking and asset management group in the world. Within this workshop, we gained useful insights in what investment banking is, the different roles available, how it is like to work in the city, and different journeys from numerous members of staff. We also gained advice and many tips for writing CVs, interviews dos and don’ts and ways to apply to the company. We served snacks and lunch with many sweet treats! It was then time to head over to the We Can Be event. Not only did this event provide useful advice for having a career in the city, but also provided a warm and empowering environment. We had a guest speaker mentioning her career path and journey which was very inspirational. We played an investment game, predicting and investing in companies. The group that got the highest return on investment, won. It was competitive and very enjoyable. This event was an incredible opportunity and we’ve gained so many insights and advice!
