On Friday, 15th March, Roe Green Primary School hosted the Brent School Launch Climate Action event. Kingsbury and Kenton schools were given the opportunity to come up with a short presentation to raise awareness of our changing climate and its impacts. Kingsbury High School’s topic was Green Careers and 11 students from Year 9 and Year 10 took part to give a presentation about career options that will help tackle climate change. This included jobs such as a marine biologist, an environmental journalist, a robotic engineer and an eco-fashion designer. The students used props and made their presentation interactive with the audience, which made it more enjoyable. Thanks to the students involved: Daniela, Vishwantha, Dhilan and Imogen in Year 10, and Sinekan, Aarav, Jeet, Avi, Treqwan, Ansh and Jayant in Year 9.
