Welcome to the Applied Learning Faculty
Head of Faculty: Dipesh Gajperia
The different curricula within AL has been designed to be as engaging as possible by using real life examples which our young learners can relate to e.g. TikTok trends and the risks involved.
It will be relevant and this is achieved by constantly reflecting and understanding how the different curricula can be adapted to keep up with changes in industry e.g. new developments in technology, growth/decline of existing businesses, advancements in healthcare etc.
It will be accessible to pupils of all abilities and therefore inclusive. It will also include appropriate challenge in each lesson to stretch pupils.
It is designed in a way in which pupils are provided ample opportunity to reflect on their own learning as well as to develop their literacy in the various subjects.
