They spent three periods participating in team building activities and one period listening to a talk from the Groundswell Project.
Year 8
They spent two periods with our external facilitators from Safety First who delivered on topics such as knife crime, sexting and road safety.
One period was spent with another external company (Stand Up- Anti- Bullying) who talked to our students and made them aware of online bullying and hate.
One period looked at the skills on Unifrog for their Year 9 Graduation.
Year 9
They spent the whole day experiencing eight of the option subjects as they prepared to make subject choices for their GCSEs.
Year 10
The whole day was spent learning topics that included: masculinity, feminism and misogyny.
Year 11
Students attended an interview as they prepared for life beyond Year 11 and to see what their options were.
Year 12
Participated in a carousel of activities and workshops in preparation for life beyond Sixth Form and the working world.
Year 13
Experienced one period with an external speaker delivering advice on health and wellbeing.
The remaining three periods included activities of their choice for health and wellbeing such as: mindfulness, sports and cooking.
