Senior Citizens Annual Christmas Party

On Friday 6th December KHS hosted the annual 'Senior Citizens Christmas Party' in K hall. Our Year 13 sports leaders, or 'red shirts', led the event and it was a pleasure to welcome residents from our local care homes and community groups. As well as copious amounts of tea, mince pies, sandwiches and cakes being consumed, there were also lots of different activities to take part in, such as boccia, skittles, dominoes, Connect 4 and a sing-a- long. Congratulations to the residents of Ashton Lodge Home who were the winners of this year's quiz!

Following on from this, our year 13 red shirts will be volunteering at our local care homes as part of their Level 3 Sports leadership qualification.
