Excel Days

We recently had our three consecutive summer Excel Days. The students were fortunate to participate in a variety of activities.

Year 7 - London trips, Culture Day, First Aid

All students visited London sites. They also experienced a cultural day and learned basic first aid.

Year 8 - Residentials, Day trips, in school activities

69 students took part in two residentials (Skern Lodge and Lee Valley). 14 day trips took place to venues such as Go Ape, London Zoo, BMX cycling and golf. Most students were off site at some point.

Year 9 - Primary Leadership Programme

All students participated in the primary school leadership project, where they were taught how to lead and then they led primary school children.

Year 10 - PSHE Day and Careers Day

All students participated in PSHE topics: AI in the workplace, teenage cancer, mental health, discrimination. We had external facilitators who came to school to deliver workshops to our students as well as an inspirational speaker describing his career path.

Year 12 - UCAS Day and University Visits

All students visited a university. All students began to explore their options beyond school and started to write personal statements.
