Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge & Awards Evening

During our first Excel Day in November, all of Year 10 participated in the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge. This involved external facilitators from Speakers Trust who trained all our students how to speak in front of others. Students were given tips about their voice projection and body language when speaking with others. Two students, Keshav and Hajar were chosen to represent the school in the Regional Final which took place at Claremont High School. Unfortunately, they didn't win the competition, however, they spoke brilliantly in front of an audience and we are proud that they represented the school so well. Well done Keshav and Hajar.

On Thursday 1st of February we had the Jack Petchey Awards Evening which was held at the Brent Civic Centre. It was a fantastic evening which celebrated all our winners (students and adults) from 2023 who received a Jack Petchey Award. These people were given an award for their consistent excellent conduct and for going beyond usual expectations. Will it be your turn to receive an award this year?
