Year 12 Trip to De Montfort University

On Tuesday 23rd of April we had the opportunity to visit De Montfort University in Leicester. This essentially entailed having a comprehensive tour of the University, attending a marketplace with a wide array of undergraduate courses and exploring student accommodations.

The trip was incredibly beneficial as it proposed an opportunity to talk to professors and specialist staff. The marketplace provided an interactive platform for us to explore the several undergraduate courses they had to offer as well as allowing us to deepen our passion in particular subjects. They also facilitated discussions surrounding financial management at university.

Exploring the student accommodation facilities offered us a first-hand glimpse into the realities of life at university. It not only helped us understand the practical and financial aspects of living on campus but also provided valuable insights into the communal atmosphere and lifestyle dynamics.

Overall, our visit to De Montfort University was a rewarding experience that not only broadened our academic horizons but also equipped us with the appropriate practical knowledge for navigating university life successfully.
