Participants of the AQA Dame Kelly Holmes Unlocking Potential programme showcased their ingenuity and compassion through a Dragons Den-style workshop where they secured funding to launch social action projects, including a successful initiative selling popcorn cones to support the Khulisa charity. They further demonstrated their leadership by organizing and hosting a festival for disabled students, providing inclusive activities that brought joy and community spirit. The culmination of their efforts was celebrated with an awards ceremony at London Zoo, where the students were honoured for their dedication and achievements in making a positive impact on their communities. Well done to the students involved in the programme and thank you to Hannah Beharry for supporting the students throughout the year during their mentoring sessions.
