In October, Kingsbury High School launched The National Ambassador Scheme with Year 12, which is an Arts, Heritage and Culture award, where students have to complete a number of projects to achieve the accreditation (over 1 year).
The scheme is led by ‘The Black Curriculum,’ an organisation which aims to empower young people and educators across the UK to engage with Black British history, 365 days a year. They work to improve social inclusion and give the next generation the tools to navigate a diverse landscape, including career support. As a part of the scheme, students engage in creative opportunities which aim to further raise the profile of black history and culture.
We are excited to launch The National Ambassador Scheme in our Sixth Form, and believe our students will greatly benefit from taking part.
