Prefect Leadership Training

In the Autumn term, the Year 13 Prefects, including the Head Boy and Head Girl, attended leadership training sessions delivered by members of Kingsbury High School’s Senior Team. The presenters included Alex Thomas (Headteacher), Anton Mclean (Deputy Headteacher), James Casey (Deputy Headteacher) and Shara Davis (Assistant Headteacher). Students were initially encouraged to reflect upon their leadership styles.Then they explored how to create a vision for a team, foster a team culture and manage difficult conversations. The students spoke positively about the sessions, and shared that they look forward to putting their newly acquired leadership skills into practice.
