Finance Guest Speaker

Our Year 12 BTEC and A-Level Business students recently benefited from an insightful session delivered by a local mortgage broker, who volunteered to share his expertise on mortgages and the house-buying process. The session covered key topics such as interest rates, house prices, credit scores, and the importance of financial planning. Students also engaged in a practical activity, exploring house prices, expected earnings, and deposit requirements, which helped them understand the realities of getting onto the property ladder. This informative workshop highlighted the importance of financial education and gave our students valuable knowledge to help prepare them for their future.
