Eco Club

Four students from KHS, Wishwantha G, Keshav J, Emanuel R and Jayant V were filmed by a Hollywood crew for a climate change documentary, called Groundswell. This movie will be a third in an environmental trilogy and will be released in April 2026 on Amazon Prime, featuring Jason Momoa, Woody Harrelson and Ian Somerhalder! The first two episodes, Kiss the Ground and Common Ground have won a lot of international awards. The trilogy is directed by Joshua and Rebecca Tickell. The students had a really good time and did not fancy getting back to the reality of school life the following day!

The Eco Club is also beyond thrilled to announce that KHS has been awarded a second place in the Super Schools category at the London Eco Champion Awards Ceremony. This is an award that recognises individuals, schools and community leaders across the whole of London who are making a difference in the fight for a sustainable future. On the judging panel, there were people from University College London, the British Library, Islington Climate Centre, Greater London Authority and Barclays. The ceremony was also filmed for the upcoming Hollywood documentary on climate change, Groundswell.
