Our first Excel Day of the year took place on Monday 11th November and a number of activities took place. All of year 7 visited London sites which included Greenwich and the Tower of London. Year 8 participated in the First Give Charity Project which raised awareness about local charities and over £1400 was fundraised for these charities. Year 9 took part in a carousel of activities which included: addiction, first aid and health education. All of year 10 participated in the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge, which encourages public speaking and we look forward to the Regional Final in January which is being held at Kingsbury High School. Year 11 had external facilitators who delivered on topics such as misogyny, extremism and revision tips. Year 12 took part in a health and wellbeing day. Year 13 participated in life beyond the 6th form as they prepared for their next career steps.
