Oxbridge Pathway

Welcome to our school's dedicated Oxbridge Pathway, designed to support students in their journey to apply to Oxford or Cambridge University in year 13. We understand that pursuing higher education at prestigious institutions like Oxford and Cambridge can be both exciting and challenging. That's why we are committed to providing comprehensive guidance and resources to help our students thrive throughout the application process.

Our programme of support starts early in the lower school, where students have the opportunity to hear from former students who successfully gained admission to Oxbridge. These engaging sessions provide valuable insights into the application process, university life, and the benefits of studying at Oxbridge. By learning from those who have walked the path before them, students can begin to envision their own potential and set their sights on achieving their goals.  We also engage with our most academically gifted students with our Scholars Club.

As students progress to Year 12 and 13, our support intensifies to ensure they are fully prepared for the rigorous Oxbridge application process. We organise a series of workshops and activities tailored to the unique requirements of Oxford and Cambridge.

  • Dedicated Oxbridge Tutor
  • Offering Extended Project Qualification for stretch and challenge

We are proud to highlight the accomplishments of our former Head Girl, Priya Bharadia, who successfully secured a place at Cambridge University in 2021. Priya took the initiative to create her own resource based on her own journey to help other students navigate the Oxbridge application process. Her guide serves as an invaluable tool, providing insights, tips, and advice based on her personal experiences. We encourage all aspiring Oxbridge applicants to take advantage of Priya's guide (below) and benefit from her wisdom and expertise.

If you are an ambitious student with dreams of studying at Oxford or Cambridge, our Oxbridge Pathway is here to support and guide you every step of the way. Explore our resources, connect with our staff, and take advantage of the opportunities we offer to make the most of your sixth form experience, develop your skills, and engage in super-curricular experiences. Together, we can turn your Oxbridge aspirations into a reality.
